These Terms & Conditions (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of https://shastasound.com (the “Site”), operated by Shasta Sound (“Shasta Sound,” “we,” “us,” or “our”). By accessing or using the Site, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Site.

The Site provides general information about our services and offerings (including DJ services, sound reinforcement, lighting, and related event production services). Content on the Site is provided for informational purposes only and may change without notice.

Using the Site or contacting us through the Site does not create a service-provider relationship and does not guarantee availability for your event date.


3) Quotes, Bookings, and Service Agreements

Submitting a contact form or requesting a quote does not guarantee a booking. A booking is confirmed only when we provide written confirmation (and when any required deposit/payment is received, if applicable).

If we provide a proposal, invoice, booking confirmation, or a separate service agreement (collectively, “Booking Terms”), those Booking Terms will govern your event and will control in the event of any conflict with these Site Terms.


4) Payments, Cancellations, and Changes

Payment schedules, deposits, cancellation terms, rescheduling rules, overtime, travel fees, venue requirements, and equipment protection/damage responsibilities may vary by event and will be stated in your Booking Terms.


5) Acceptable Use

You agree not to:

  • Use the Site for any unlawful purpose
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to the Site, servers, or systems
  • Interfere with the Site’s operation or security (including via scraping, scanning, or automated requests)
  • Submit false, misleading, or fraudulent information through forms, email, or phone

6) Intellectual Property

All content on the Site—including text, graphics, logos, photos, videos, designs, and other materials—is owned by Shasta Sound or used with permission and is protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may view or print pages from the Site for personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from Site content without our prior written permission.


7) Testimonials, Reviews, and Portfolio Media

Testimonials and reviews reflect individual experiences and may not represent typical results. Photos and videos on the Site may show examples of prior events and production setups for illustrative purposes.

If you believe content on the Site (including media) should not be displayed, contact us and we will review and address the request as appropriate.

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services (such as social media platforms or review sites). We do not control third-party sites and are not responsible for their content, policies, or practices. Access third-party sites at your own risk.

WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT THE SITE WILL BE UNINTERRUPTED, SECURE, OR ERROR-FREE, OR THAT ANY CONTENT IS ALWAYS COMPLETE, ACCURATE, OR CURRENT.


10) Limitation of Liability

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SHASTA SOUND WILL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING OUT OF OR RELATED TO YOUR USE OF (OR INABILITY TO USE) THE SITE.

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SHASTA SOUND’S TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM RELATED TO THE SITE WILL NOT EXCEED $100.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations, so some of the above may not apply to you.

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Shasta Sound from and against any claims, damages, liabilities, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your misuse of the Site or violation of these Terms.
